Gandi (www.gandi.net) Domains for "no charge" for one year....

Gandi (www.gandi.net) though the website and logo at one time "looked" less "commerical" it is relatively "independent" and offers a lot (as well supports:http://en.gandi.net/supports/debian/ and others - it refers to as "projects" which may be confusing...
Gandi has consistently been adding to what it has available: beyond registry for domain names, there is Gandi Mail, Hosting, etc., and now in its tenth year Gandi "wanted to thank [existing "customers"] for [their] support by giving away 55,000 domain names.
Over the years G/E - not to be confused with 'bringing great profits to shareholders' -- as required to do: Dodge Brothers case (www.chomsky.info/interviews/20070402.htm) -- has many times referred to them and others that G/E considers a "threat of a good example."
The success that Gandi has enjoyed over the past 10 years has largely been due to the support that our customers have given us. As of 7 March 2010: "...there are no more promo codes left. We will be giving away 8,000 new promo codes on March 8, beginning at 1.00PM Paris time."
G/E tried a few times earlier and each time the process stated more would be released in a couple of hours or so - thus it is not as so written at

At last, here ar two of Gandi's "promo codes" which can be used to "register" a two domains (hopefully two different people...) at "no charge" for one year, after which one would have to decide to renew or not.
