In Rotary We trust

"Roundabout" updates...

the vine growing up Yield sign remains....the rubble in crosswalk too.

..those bricks on the side of rotary were either buried over or at last removed during the current placement of electrical conduit, along inside, righthand side of rotary, approach to Forest Street, something reported and ignored for years, again something that regular maintenance ought to have addressed, same goes for the now remaining skin and bones of a racoon ..scrape up? whereas when weeds by railing were recently cut the in-whole... could have been removed -- near 93 overpass, approach south to rotary.

Curious if work moved to other side of Forest because damaged guard rail fir about year left little room for machinery on slope of embakement.

Rest assured the utility markings by 100 / 325 inbound stop, the City owned without bus hanger, were again for conduit work, not to make a bus stop pull-in area as is at Assemby area in Somerville.

The electrical cover that was off to side with three foot drop is now right side up, not sticking up as much, unlike the two sign posts 6560 pole no., by exit 93 southbound, reported for years.

The broken sidwalk remains at same as above, 93 overpass leading into rotary, and again at 1959 marker on bridge maybe the remaing bones snd skin of a racoon, there for four weeks... even weed cutting nearby did not address...someone moved the bird on sidewalk twenty feet away.

....and likely consideration of structural changes at rotary such as a roundabout to replace existing...or even a pseudo one that would eliminate some lane changing in rotary whereby one waiting to cross is at furthe risk beyond speeds by this cross "lane" ..by extending island upward at last point of decision for Fellsway West and 93 north...some changes could be made to get vehicles in lane... ..see yellow sand containers at Wellington.... but it is likely implicitly rejected from consciouness since little apparent concern to reduce likely collisions, far less concern for anyone walking in crosswalks at this "rotary."

And maybe a PA announcement, social engineering for what ought be obvious, if entering rotary at Ridgeway by virtually invisible Stop...turn right first so as not to injure someone who checked first before entering walk and wrongly thought someone at halt awaiting entering because of approaching vehicles to their left would turn to the other side, the one without approaching vehicles!
